Peeps. in Part 1 of my Series, Salad My Way, I showed you how to clean and store your lettuce. In Part 2, I showed you an easy and more precise way to cut your lettuce and toppings. Finally, in Part 3 of my brief series, you'll learn how properly dress a salad and enjoy every morsel.
Let's wrap up this series:
1- Clean and store you lettuce for lasting consumption and a dryer, crisp lettuce that will hold the dressing better.
2 - Cut the lettuce and ingredients with scissors for more uniform, bite size, manageable pieces that will hold your ingredients for every bite.
3 - Dress the lettuce by glazing the ingredients in a bowl so that your salad is not drowning in dressing and become limp and boring. Season your dressing before tossing the salad because lettuce leaves are primarily water and need a boost
Finally, if you use a salad dressing that has an oil and acid base, the ingredients are easily digested. . Keep your ingredients cold. Use pretty bowls and don't be afraid to use your hands.
