Cherry Citrus Party Punch
The Shugga Project acknowledges our followers with special diet needs. A lot of my recipes can be tweeked for lower cal alternatives. Tis the season for parties and we must have punch. I found and tweeked a recipe for a sugar free, low carb, low sodium punch for Diabetics. I promise you'll love my Cherry Citrus Party Punch and your guest will never know you hit them with a sugar free drink.
I found this recipe but I didn't care for the flavors, so of course I tweeked it. It's Cherry and Citrus flavored, garnished with fresh fruit. Quick, easy and inexpensive and has that kick, so you don't feel like your missing out.

1 Packet of Cherry flavored Great Value Sugar Free, Low Calorie drink mix
(Great Value brand is found at Walmart's. It's thier brand of drink mix. One container has 6 packets and about $1.95)
2 Quarts of Water
1 2 Liter bottle of Fresca
Make the drink mix as instructed with 2 quarts of water. In another punch bowl or pitcher, add one part drink mix to one part Fresca and stir. Slice oranges and lime and garnish your glasses. Serve chilled. That's it! It's so refreshing.
You can always omit the oranges and limes if you are concerned about natural sugars. Fresca has been endorsed by the American Diabetics Association as a free food.
